HELIOTROPE

Marketplace 1 & 2 is located in the Pike Place Market neighborhood and borders one of Seattle’s most recognizable public open spaces, Victor Steinbrueck Park. Heliotrope was contracted by new owners to redesign the existing public plaza that connects the two office structures. Our proposed plan features a fully-redesigned plaza space with new outdoor dining and gathering spaces as well as the construction of a new pavilion structure to house a restaurant dining room. The existing buildings will be painted, with street-level storefronts replaced and new steel and glass awnings added.
